    Join us for a fun walk as we enjoy a progressive breakfast from local eateries. Along the way you can visit with the Pedestrian Advisory Committee about your concerns on walking issues. Part of the Flagstaff Walks! series of events.

  2. Mural Walk

    October 5, 9:00 AM @ Meet at PAC booth at Flagstaff Community Market – Flagstaff City Hall west parking lot on Aspen Avenue

    This 3-mile walking tour will feature about 20 murals around downtown and the southside, and will be led by local walking advocate Jack Welch. Part of the Flagstaff Walks! series of events.

  3. Geocaching/ Letterboxing/ Benchmark Hunting

    October 5, 2:00 PM @ Meet at Flagstaff City Hall – front steps

    Learn about the world of treasure hunting with GPS and compass. We'll discuss the basics of the three sports as a family, group or individual activity for all ages. We will be sure that each participant will find a nearby geocache, a virtual cache or letterbox, and a benchmark in an unusual location. Bring a compass or a GPS unit or both. Part of the Flagstaff Walks! series of events.

  4. Crossing Guard Appreciation Day

    October 8, 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM @ Kinsey, Knoles, Marshall, Sechrist, and Thomas Schools

    Honor the folks who help our kids get safely across the streets at schools. Bring a token of thanks – card, flower, hug – or just say thanks to your crossing guard! Contact your child’s school for more information. Part of the Flagstaff Walks! series of events.

  5. International Walk to School Day

    October 8, 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM @ Kinsey, Knoles, Marshall, Sechrist, and Thomas Schools

    Join over 3 million kids around the world who are walking to school on this day! Walk with your children to school to enhance the health of kids, improve air quality and the environment, and help create safer routes for walking and bicycling.   6. 15 Minute Makeover – Sidewalk Clean Up

    October 15, 10:15 AM @ Start at the northwest corner of Woodlands Village Boulevard and Beulah Boulevard

    Time to roll up your sleeves and help make Flagstaff more beautiful and walkable! We’ll walk along Woodlands Village Boulevard and the Sinclair Wash FUTS, picking up trash and clearing sidewalks as we go. Part of the Flagstaff Walks! series of events.
