K008-1web.jpgAdopt-a-FUTS is a great opportunity for local non-profits, clubs and organizations, businesses, neighborhood associations, schools, families, and individuals to help improve our FUTS trails and make a visible difference in the community.

Trail Stewards are responsible for providing a minimum of three litter clean-ups per year for their adopted FUTS segment, for a minimum of two years. Trail Stewards are also asked to monitor their trail segment and report any maintenance or other issues to the City.

The City will provide garbage bags and gloves, and can provide safety vests and litter grabbers when available for your clean-up events.

A total of 92 trail segments (representing 54 miles of FUTS trails) are available for adoption. Many segments have already been adopted,   Trail segments are typically about 1/2 mile in length, but range from 1/4 to 1 mile. For more information, follow these links to download a map of Adopt-A-FUTS trail segments that includes the trail name, beginning and ending points, and mileage.
