Overview for Qualifying Small Businesses

The Small Business Waste Program (SBWP) provides a safe, affordable, and local hazardous waste disposal option for businesses that qualify as a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG). Advantages of the SBWP include:
  • Provide an economical solution to your hazardous wastes disposal needs
  • Offset transportation costs by combing wastes from multiple businesses

Business waste includes wastes from Landlords, Non-profits, Government Agencies and Schools. If you are a business owner in need of waste disposal, please contact the HPC at (928) 527-9005 as business waste is handled by appointment only. If your business does not currently qualify to participate in the SBWP, other options may be available. Businesses can also review the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality's (ADEQ) Handbook for Managing Small Business Waste.
