Cinder Lake Landfill Fee Schedules
New Tonnage Increase
Beginning December 1, 2012 Cinder Lake Landfill Tonnage fees increase 5%. This 5% rate increase was approved by the Flagstaff City Council in 2007 for a 5 year period. The new fee per ton = $41.67 + $0.25 (ADEQ fee) for a total of $41.92 per ton.
City Residents
Flagstaff Residents who pay for City Water and Refuse Services may enter the landfill free of charge with the following restrictions:
- Up to one pickup truck load of solid residential waste
- You must provide a current printed copy of your water bill and driver's license
- Residents without a water bill and driver's license will be charged as a Non-resident

- So long as City resident pays for City Utilities/Solid Waste services.
- Proof is required. Acceptable proof is a current and printed City of Flagstaff water bill and a valid ID to match.
- If you live in a residence such as an apartment complex and utilities are included, evacuation fees are applicable b/c you are not directly paying for City services.
- If you receive paperless city billing/online city billing, you must print out your online City of Flagstaff water bill and bring it with you, otherwise you will be charged applicable evacuation fees.
- Evacuation fees are applicable if current City of Flagstaff water bill and ID are not given at time of transaction.

Coconino County residents and Flagstaff residents that do not pay for City of Flagstaff water and refuse services will be charged the following fees to use the landfill:
