Energy Rebate Program
The City of Flagstaff in partnership with UniSource Energy Services (UNS Energy) is pleased to announce the Energy Rebate Program...
Now’s the time to replace that old furnace, water heater or upgrade attic insulation with rebates available through the City of Flagstaff’s Energy Rebate Program. The rebate program is funded through incentive payments received by the City from UNS Energy for energy efficiency measures completed throughout the Recovery Act grant-funded Residential Energy Retrofit Program.

All rebate work must be completed by a UNS Energy preferred contractor, a list of which can be found here: https://www.uesaz.com/bright-contractors/.

- Flagstaff Public Libraries now offer portable energy meters for check out – it’s as easy as checking out a book!
- Energy meters are designed to easily measure how much electricity is used by plug-in appliances at home or at work.
- By simply unplugging your appliances and electronics (e.g. toaster, coffee pot, DVD player) when not in use, can save you energy and money.
- Energy meters are easy to use; simply plug the meter into an outlet and then plug your appliance or small electronic item into the meter. You will then instantly see how much electricity is being used and you can calculate the cost associated with the specific appliance or electronic.
