The Regional Plan Is Your Plan for Our Town

The Flagstaff Regional Plan is a development and preservation guide for the City and its surrounding region. The Citizens Advisory Committee and the Core Planning Team have carefully analyzed each element and develop goals based upon public input and research.

These goals and policies for all of the elements will be formally adopted in 2013 by the Coconino County Board of Supervisors and Flagstaff City Council before being ratified by the voters in 2014.

Vision

The Greater Flagstaff community embraces the region's extraordinary cultural and ecological setting on the Colorado Plateau through active stewardship of the natural and built environments. Residents and visitors encourage and advance intellectual, environmental, social and economic vitality for today's citizens and future generations.
