2021 Earth Day

We are excited to announce that Earth Day 2021 will be hosted via virtual engagement.  We are partnering with communities around the state, featuring our elected officials, sharing their hopes for Earth Day Action.  Earth Day is Thursday, April 22, 2021, but look for social media videos in the weeks leading up to Earth Day and on this page, where we can post the links to the videos. We’ll have 7 videos total, all outlining a vision for combating climate change and a call to action.  We invite you to engage with the call to action and share your story here! And don't forget to follow us on Facebook!

Spring Into Action on Saturday April 10th, 2021!

Join us in celebrating Earth Day with this neighborhood clean up event.   We will meet at several parks around the community and head out into the surrounding neighborhoods to clean up litter.

Each park will have a volunteer clean up leader. Pre-Registration is required, we will be limiting the number of people at each location, per Covid.  Masks are required.  Families welcome!  We will host a prize drawing for all participants.  Wear sun protection, sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle.  For questions, please contact Marissa Molloy by email, or call (928) 213-2152.

NOTE: Due to Covid 19, Earth Day as a large-scale community event at the park will not take place.
