Fort Valley Trail

About the Trail

The trail follows Fort Valley Road from Kendrick Street on the south to Fremont Boulevard on the north. South of Sechrist School, the trail is 8 feet in width and adjacent to the street. Trails users should be cautious in this section, as the trail crosses frequent side streets.

At Sechrist Elementary School the trail crosses to the east side of Fort Valley Road and continues north. This portion of the trail is a full 10 feet in width and is separated from the street. The grade from south to north is gradual but steady, and gets a little steeper near the Museum of Northern Arizona.
