The 1st Annual Flagstaff Youth Climate Summit was held at
The Arboretum at Flagstaff on April 30th, 2019.
The Summit was a positive experience that included Climate Action Challenge project presentations, a tour of climate research at the Arboretum, a guest keynote speaker, and climate activism workshops. Participants learned about climate action, contributed to the development of Flagstaff's Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, and received hands-on experience with the Arboretum's conservation projects.
