All fire prevention permit application are process and completed by Jacqueline Richwine, Management Analyst with the Fire Department. Please email your completed fire prevention permit application to Jacqueline Richwine.

After your fire prevention permit has been processed, it will be forward on to our Assistant Fire Marshall (Chris Jack) or Fire Inspector (Kristina Barnett) for review. Once the review of your processed permit, building plans and any other submitted materials is complete, you will be contacted by Chris Jack or Kristina Barnett to schedule your inspection. 

Please be advised of the following: 

1) Your fire prevention permit application cannot be processed without payment for the requested permits associated fees. 

2) Currently all fire prevention permit fees can be paid at the City of Flagstaff cashier office in city hall via credit/ debit card, check, or cash. Check payments can be mailed to the above address. 

In the instance that a check payment is received, we will process the payment for you at the cashier’s office.

City hall is currently open to the public Monday- Friday from 8:00 am-1:00 pm.

3) The wearing a face coverings over nose and mouth is REQUIRED at all times in all City of Flagstaff buildings in an effort to prevent the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus. 

The City of Flagstaff recommends wearing KN-95 or N-95 masks, as they offer the best protection against COVID-19. 

Patrons that refuse to wear a masks will be asked to leave the premises, and asked to reach out to city staff via email or telephone.
