Vendor Training OpportunityThe City of Flagstaff Purchasing Section will be conducting an introductory training on how to register as a vendor with the online bidding portal, PlanetBids.com.
Training will take place Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at City Hall 211 West Aspen Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 in the City Council chambers at 1:30 PM local time.
Vendors interested in learning how to get setup as a registered vendor on the PlanetBids website in order to received auto notifications about posted solicitations are encouraged to attend.

The City of Flagstaff Purchasing Division welcomes the interest and participation of all vendors in seeking contracts with the City of Flagstaff. This guide is designed to acquaint you with the process for procuring commodities, services and construction projects. The information presented has been developed as a general guide, and may not answer all of your questions. The Purchasing Division is open for business from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm in the winter, and 7:00 am - 4:00 pm in the summer, Monday through Friday with the exception of City-observed holidays. Summer hours begin the first week of May and continue through the last week of August. Vendor hours are 10:00 am - Noon and 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday. The Purchasing Division is a proud member of the National Procurement Institute (NPI). Founded in 1968, NPI is designed to establish cooperative relationships among its members and to develop efficient purchasing methods and practices in the area of governmental, educational, and institutional procurement. In 1995, NPI established a program designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® is awarded annually. This prestigious award is earned by those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score based on standardized criteria. The criteria are designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.
