[ARCHIVED] Residential trash collection suspended Monday, Jan. 16

Due to severe weather conditions and to protect City employees, residents, and equipment, effective Monday, Jan. 16, the City of Flagstaff's Solid Waste section will temporarily suspend collection services for residential trash and recycling. Commercial trash and recycling collection services will continue, where accessible, until further notice.

In order to support more efficient snow clearing operations, the City kindly asks that residents with Monday trash and recycling collection services do not place their carts at the curb until residential services resume. At this time, it is anticipated that residential collection services will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Service will remain on a delayed schedule for the remainder of the week. Any areas that were not serviced prior to this temporary suspension will be serviced as soon as they are accessible. To report missed containers, please email or call 928-213-2110.

The Cinder Lake Landfill will remain open during normal hours of operations.
