[ARCHIVED] City facilities to close at 5 p.m.

All City of Flagstaff non-essential facilities will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14 due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. This includes facilities such as libraries and recreation centers.

Today’s City Council meeting will take place as scheduled and will begin at 3 p.m. While City Hall will remain open for the duration of the meeting, it can also be streamed online. More information on streaming and virtual participation options is available at flagstaff.az.gov/1461/Streaming-City-Council-Meetings

The City’s Public Works division has deployed all available equipment and operators during this winter snow event, with operations running 24 hours a day. First priority roadways for treatment are main arterials, major hills, downtown, school and transit routes. All other streets are considered second priority areas. A map of the city which shows first priority streets can be found here.
