[ARCHIVED] City facilities to open at 10 a.m. due to inclement weather

All City of Flagstaff administrative offices and non-essential facilities will open at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2 due to inclement weather and continued snowfall. Facilities will close at their normally scheduled times. This includes City recreation centers, libraries, and the Flagstaff Visitor Center.

The City’s Public Works division has deployed all available equipment and operators during this winter snow event, with operations running 24 hours a day. First priority roadways for treatment are main arterials, major hills, downtown, school and transit routes. All other streets are considered second priority areas. A map of the city which shows first priority streets can be found here.
