[ARCHIVED] Flooding community meetings Oct. 30 and Nov. 2

The City of Flagstaff is hosting two flooding community meetings this fall to discuss ongoing infrastructure projects, flood modeling, winter preparations and short-term mitigations, as well as answer questions from residents.

Schultz Creek/ Pipeline West

  • Monday, Oct. 30, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
  • Flagstaff City Hall, Council Chambers (211 W Aspen Ave)
  • This community meeting is specifically targeted towards residents who live in the Coconino Estates and Coyote Springs neighborhoods.
  • Virtual participation, such as asking questions virtually, will not be available. Residents should attend in person to ask specific questions or email questions to info@pipelinewestflooding.com.

Spruce Wash/ Museum Flood Area

  • Thursday, Nov. 2, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
  • Flagstaff City Hall, Council Chambers (211 W Aspen Ave)
  • This community meeting is specifically targeted towards residents who live in the Paradise, Grandview and Sunnyside neighborhoods.
  • Virtual participation, such as asking questions virtually, will not be available. Residents should attend in person to ask specific questions or email questions to info@museumfloodprojects.com.

The meetings will be streamed online and can be viewed at flagstaff.az.gov/1461/Streaming-City-Council-Meetings. Complete recordings of the meetings will also be uploaded to the City’s website after the meetings.
