[ARCHIVED] City Thanksgiving closures

City administrative offices will be closed Nov. 23 and 24, 2023 for the Thanksgiving holiday and will reopen on Nov. 27, 2023. Operating hours for other City of Flagstaff facilities are listed below.

  • Aquaplex (1702 N Fourth St)
    • Wednesday, Nov. 22 – closes at 6 p.m. (two hours early)
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 – opens at 10 a.m. (four hours later than normal)
  • Cinder Lake Landfill and Hazardous Products Center (6770 Landfill Rd)
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 - regular hours of operation
  • East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St)
    • Wednesday, Nov. 22 – closes at 4 p.m.
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 – closed all day
  • Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library (300 W. Aspen Ave.)
    • Wednesday, Nov. 22 – closes at 4 p.m.
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 – closed all day
  • Hal Jensen Recreation Center (2403 N. Izabel St)
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 – closed all day
  • Jay Lively Activity Center (1650 N. Turquoise Dr)
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 - open with scheduled programming                                
  • Joe C Montoya (245 N. Thorpe Rd)
    • Thursday, Nov. 23 – closed all day
    • Friday, Nov. 24 – closed all day

All city-serviced trash and recycling collections which would normally occur on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 23) will be serviced on the following day. Thursday’s route will be picked up on Friday, Nov. 24 and Friday’s route will be serviced on Saturday, Nov. 25.
